Mix 'N' Match

The title is pretty self-explanatory, this summer mix it up! Mix patterns, colors, styles, makeup & accessories! Common thread in all of these pictures is there bold & bright lip color + nails! If you aren't a fan of color where fashion is concerned, go crazy with your lipstick! Everyone has that color they purchased and wonder when they could ever wear it, well now is that time! Seize the moment! Orange, Coral, Neon pink...go crazy...you'll look cool doing it!

“Call of the wild” by Free People

Free people always know how to visually stimulate me! Oh yes they do! Their newest spread doing the same! Though Call of the wild resembles tattered clothing, it is tattered done very well! I am in love with the oversized floral pants, I feel like I could LIVE in those. I am also a BIG fan of the jewlery and feathers used; hobo-chic at its best!

The effortless attitude of this collection, makes me want to hug every piece and never let go!

Bare...

I believe that the sexiest place on a woman's body is her back. My reasoning behing this is the fact that we are so used to showing cleavage and bare tummies that the back neck area never seems to get enough attention. The curvature of the back with a sleek bare neck make for an incredibly desirable silhouette. Which brings me to my new obsession...Backless tops. That little bit of skin that plays peek-a-boo leaves soooo much to be desired, making for an incredibly succesful outfit. So dare to be bare ladies... ;)

With the short-lived "warm" weather we had yesterday, it made me really catch spring fever. I am now constantly dreaming of bright colors, floral prints, dresses and sunkissed glows. Then reaity hits me with 5cm of snow and an ice-covered car and I remember it is only the 6th of march!! So as per usual, I will live through the images of Dior and my favorite fashion bloggers. So here's to adding a little sunshine and color to your week!

Think pink as you get dressed this week, add a pop of bright pink to your lips or nails. That light pink sweater you own is so very appropriate to wear, along with that pink clutch you own.
