As you all might have noticed, I am not the biggest fan of color...BUT Seneca Rising applies color in such a subtle way that it makes it more then acceptable..its AMAZING!!

Another great way to wear clothes is by using layers! As seen in Seneca Rising's Spring/Summer Collection. Layers add a visually appealing aspect to an outfit and allow you to play around with a number of different clothing articles in your closet. I'm obviously not encouraging that you put on a ridiculous amount on because you might start looking like a hobo...but mindfully piece things together and always keep an editing eye on the final outfit!

I've posted a few of this collections stuff on my blog over the past weeks and it seems that I havn't done it enough justice by giving it it's own post because it does indeed deserve it! The collection is very much edgy and has appeared in NYLON, GLAMOUR and a number of other editorial fashion spreads. There's a bone inspired look that Has been worn by Hilary Duff (I personaly would not of chosen that outfit to highlight such a great piece of jewlery, but to each their own!

Their stuff has such a raw/rustic quality to it that just pulls you in and makes you believe that every piece has a story to tell...

The beautiful geniuses behind this collection are two young women named Jill Martinelli and Sabine Le Guyader who met in Boston while studying metalsmithing and sculpture.
