The Crops Are Growing Strong

Crop Tops... I just heard all of you cringe and think I'm insane because not everyone enjoys being bare-bellied!! But have no fear... You can approach the crop top carefully by buying a size or 2 bigger (which I often do) so you get a nice flowy feel to it and paired with my fave pair of boyfriend short/jeans, you've got youself an a-mazing summer daytime outfit! Pictured below you have the look im talking about, as well as the belly-bearing crop top that I adore but needs to be worn carefully and in appropriate settings (aka pool party/beach/reaaaaaallllyyy hot weather)... DO NOT wear it in front of parentals or to work! lol That's not OK.

The Alchemy Of Jewlery

I have found that diamond in the rough Ladies and Gentlemen (No judgement!) Aesa Jewlery is a wonderful fusion of crystals, metals and a certain "je ne sais quoi" that really taps into a unique branch of jewlery! They have their stuff in a number of boutiques (please see their website for exact locations http://aesajewelry.com/). If you've ever wanted to be that girl with the secret location to ridiculously amazing jewlery, well I've just given it to you! Hold the applause until after I tell you how affordable the stuff is... You can also find her stuff at the infamous online boutiques I talk about, in this case http://www.shopstyle.com/browse/jewelry/Aesa and buy items for anywhere between 50$ to 250$. These are real metals made individually to create an accessory that stands the test of time!

If you've gotten anything from my blog I hope it's that you can be Stylish but still manage to make it your own! And companies like Aesa Allow you to do just that...

Pretty In Preen

Some of you fashionista's out there might already know the fashion power house Preen and I was recently reminded at how amazing this design duo is with the introduction of their Fall/Winter 2011 Collection.

A little about them:
Preen is a British design duo composed of Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi. They first designed together when asked by Helen Storey to consult on her Fall/Winter 1996/7 collection. Excited by the experience of designing together they launched Preen. Their first collection was sold from their tiny atelier/boutique off Portobello Road and with much success. They have continued building upon that success collection after collection.

Much like my previous article on Alexander Wang, they make a ready-to-wear collection that is a little more accessible but still costs a pretty penny. But the glory of these designers is that a lot of their stuff is bought by online boutiques and sold at great prices! You can find Preen and http://www.ssense.com/, http://www.revolveclothing.com/ and many others!

Their Fall/Winter line is so whimsical and flowy that you can't help but want to wrap yourself in their overgrown coats and beautifully crafted wool sweaters! Since I am not the biggest fan of wearing too much color, this new line really tugs at my heart because they play so magically with nude tones that border on peach aswell as the dark black that is expected of the colder seasons. I hope you guys enjoy these designers as much as I have because I truly believe that their line is a work of art...

I Want Wang!

The amazing thing about "haute couture" is that some designers make a very affordable ready-to-wear line that us "normal" people can purchase. Alexander Wang who is famously known for putting on very creative runways has recently come out with his T by Wang collection that I think you all will love just as much as I do. What's even greater is that a montreal based online boutique http://www.ssense.com/ sells his new line! Watch out for sales on these websites because you can be getting designer clothes for a fraction of the price! Pictured above and below are some of my favorite T by Wang pieces.

Wrap Your Head Around This

Elie Tahari 2011

Ahh the Headwrap! At one point I was very overwhlemed by all the hipster attempts at wearing the headwrap that I completely refused to wear them...Damn American Apparel! But I believe that the hipsters have moved onto to those overdone "geek glasses" and have left the headwrap alone (I hope!). There are some really great takes on them and I believe that they can look really great when done properly! The newest version on this head accessory is a sort of turban approach that I want to try but havn't found the right one just yet (I have seen them at Urban Outfitters or Wrecked & Grey sells hers online)! Pictured below is a feathered one that I bought and It is a great addition to a simple outfit! (5.98$)

Put A Ring On It

Probably my favorite accessory to shop for is the ring! There are just soooo many to chose from that are genuinely genius! Here are some that I've gathered over the past week that I think you guys will appreciate! Some are vintage so you cannot purchase them anywhere, but most of them are from TopShop and can be bought online (love that)! Another great location for ring shopping is Forever21, they range from 7$ and under which is fabulous! My favorite ring trend right now is the double finger, I have a bronze cross that doubles on my pinky and my ring finger (making it legit and not unlucky) that has been quite the hit and I bought it for somewhere around 5$. Key thing about rings: Mix and match and wear more then one at a time! DON'T BE AFRAID TO MIX GOLD AND SILVER!!! (See picture below) Finally, never purchase a ring that looks shiny gold=cheap looking and clearly looks like plastic...avoid at all costs!! Stick to worn out gold, looks more vintage as opposed to yelling out I bought this ring for 5$ at Forever21!

Put A Smile On Your Face

The "Dazed & Confused" Haleh Nematzadeh dress has taken over the indie fashion world and has gone onto grace the beautiful bodies of Paris Hilton, Amber Rose and even Ke$ha! ... A little Birdie has told me that Kristin Cavalleri is interested in one of her pieces!! Keep you posted on the outcome of that...
